Fine Google... You Win!
In my many levels of DIY, when it comes to my content, I have a habit of spending too much time trying to roll-my-own when I should be utalizing exsiting technologies. For instance an example of this happend today. While investing time looking to build a custom todo list app, calendar app, and a news reader for my own website, I realize... wait, just use Google and let Google win. I need to stop wasting my time on something that can be handled quite well through exsiting technologies.
In a personal critique. I know this common sence and it's funny how one has to pull oneself out of work-hard momentiam and point towards the work-smarter initiative.
Edit (05-10-2010): I've taken this idea a step further by switching from my Drupal blog to a posterous blog. There was nothing wrong with my Drupal blog, I just like the more natural social aspect of using posterous. Also, I have somewhat modified the orginal content of this post, I removed alot of the pointless rambling of the orginal post.
